Well over the past few months a few of your rides have been jacked. Ive always been one to insure my crap is in a position it doesnt get jacked. Over the last 2 months I parked my mini outside cause I hate scrappin windows on my daily.

Came home last night and sure as **** my little redheaded step child was gone.

Earlier in life I would have been freaking out over this but over the years Ive decided If I pay out the ass in insurance then take it I'll just get a new and better one.

Lucky for me I installed a GPS tracking chip in the ECU box a few months ago after updating the system in my chevy. I didnt even call the police I just got on my computer and found where it was.

Fortunetly for me (so I guess I really cant yet say I know how you feel to the rest of you whom waited weeks to get your truck back and have it gutted) It was a buddy playing a practical joke cause the truck was in the garage of one of my good friends/employees who had the day off and decided to play a rather mean practical joke. Lucky for him I didnt call the cops because in Idaho even If I didnt want to press charges he still would have been arrested for possession of stolen goods (basically it is still considered this since I did not give permission to take said property)

Either way my heart did sink and I did have somewhat of a WTF kinda **** is this thoughts processing in my mind.

Its in my garage now I put de-icer in the daily

wow, what a jack ass prank to pull!

And what Litneon said, it'd be nice to install one in my truck... or every component of it. I wanna know where everything goes. Like my camera, if you guys didn't know it was stolen (theoretically by my own uncle, he's gone rogue, stole my sister's phone, and even the Enterprise rental service can't find him. There goes the relationship between me and my own uncle. Mom knows he's stolen stuff before, from her. Probably sold stuff to get money to go to TX (like he usually does).

    +5 on the gps request!

That dude deserved to have that done to his car. I would be P***ED if I came home to an axe sticking out of the roof of my rig.

The system that is in my mini is the old existing ON STAR system that was in my Avalanche I just had to take the actual GPS unit out of the assembly and wire it into the toy. The new system I have in my Avalanche was an upgrade that ties in with the GPS on my deck but the box itself sits wherever you want to put it so even if your deck is ripped out before you can track it the box still activates and sends the signal.

There are a few online places that sell the systems but this is the company I was going to buy from before getting my deck for the avalanche

automobile tracking devices, personal gps locator systems, gps wireless real-time vehicle tracking They have a few options and the fee's arent too bad but if you look at anything that has a monthly or annual charge I think protection for my ride would be in the top 3 of things Im willing to pay for.

Doubt he will make the mistake to take your ride again.

Yah probably not. Dont think he will want to hang out anytime soon either but he's a grown man and knows his mistake he just has to admit to it and realize my fist was completely in the right.
