So i know I havent posted much here lately. Lets just say i hate to heat and have not done anything to my truck since spring and it is starting to drive me crazy! once it cools down i will do a few more things. I did enter the truck in a car show in my hometown but i was completely out of place. I was the only foreign vehicle period and there was very few vehicles newer then the 70s.

Yeah I have been gone for awhile. I am a little upset at my truck. The motor is still making an odd noise and I am afraid to drive it. I might just say eff it and drive it a lot this year to see if the engine blows then replace it or something.

It is a rattling noise, i initially thought it was the header shroud so i took it off and that was not the problem. It does not do it while it idles and can not hear it at all when you rev it up standing still. I can only hear it while driving and random rpm's. I can hear the noise at different rpm's in the same gear as well. If I hear it i just increase my speed by 3 mph

I agree, don't let that guy tell you're wrong or that sucks. He should have kept his mouth shut. Notice how he hasn't said anything since? Next time tell them to take a walk, kick rocks homie! They are making a choice to view this thread.

The truck looks great man. I did something similar to my trucks interior but I left the texture of the dash and trim. It originally had a vinyl mat type floor covering, I guess it was pretty standard but I found a truck at a local pick n pull with a grey carpet. I shampooed it and painted it with that dupli color vinyl and fabric spray. I used gloss for the carpet and flat for the dash to reduce glare while driving. I visit pick n pull constantly and its well worth it. I paid less that $15 to buy, clean, and paint the carpet. I plan on painting a 60/40 bench that I have once the weather gets better. I am also planning on painting my rims I think I going to go with black with a whilte lip. Again I need to wait til the weather gets warmer or until I buy a heater for my garage... which ever comes first... It will probably end up being the heater. I can't wait.

Yeah it does need to get warmer I am ready to start working again. I do not have a garage just a carport so a heater doesnt help. haha. I noticed some of the pictures do not work let me know if you are interested in seeing something specific. Thanks for looking.

Take the donks off that Lexus and throw some nice quality Japanese wheels on it, slam it, remove all decals, and maybe it'll look neat.

I like the Lexus emblem, can't wait til my truck is worthy of wearing one.

I mean all of us are worthy, mine isn't! lol

Well the emblem was only 2 bucks so I think it is worth it. haha. I am hoping my truck will get a little more worth it as well.

Are you talking about this white one? Its not mine and it doesn't have "donks" on it, it has 18" wheels on it, limo tint, custom seats, its got an air ride suspension, and its shaved all the way around. You don't have to like it. Each to his own, as they say. I don't like the headlights but I'm not stereotyping and telling him he should get some good quatity american headlights. Besides, Japanese rims are for sport compacts, they are light weight and small. I would look pretty stupid with 16" 5zigen wheels on my truck and a big doughnut for a tire.

I would like to see more pictures of the white truck. I like it and I am digging the head lights actually. Like you say to each their own.

I believe Nam is talking about the Lexus car that is transformed into a truck on the previous page.

Thats when "Quote" comes in handy. I have the pictures saved on my computer but I found them on Cardomain.com and did a search for 89-95 Toyota pickup. I like to look at other peoples trucks to get ideas for mine.

I know what you mean. I browse pictures often to get ideas of what I like. I usually browse eurotuner as well they have some pretty sick ideas. That is where I got the idea of the plaid.

So I decided not to sale my truck. I found a fabricator that would help me bag my truck for cheap so i am going to go for it. I need some one to direct me to a parts list and some good places to order the parts.
