installed these on new years eve... they were only $30 so iDecided to try um out n' see if they'd stiffen up the rear. they did, but they also raised the back of my truck up need to cuz a couple coils off or somethin'....
yea... i've seen a few straight axled toys here that are lifted super high n have no front driveshaft... smh to those guys.... to me its just a waste if gas.... iDare to be different
how you got the center bold on the leaf springs on when you put the overload on top? C-clamps? n' how much when drop after you did dat? iLike put my middle leaf back das why...
yup clamps, and idk i sit way lower then rex. his one his stock leafs and 3 blocks 15" on 65 series. so id say may 3 1/2 maybe in 4" drop
i put my middle leaf back on today n put the overload on top so now iPretty much have the same set up as yotskies... and for everyone else, this is what happens to ur drop blocks when u do burnouts with loose U-bolts
the theory is that they kinda de-arc the leafs... aidono, a couple people told me to try it. iSeen it on yotskies truck n it looked lower than mine....
haha yea.... its still higher then when iHad my middle leaf off... maybe iGotta cut off anothet coil im not sure
any other picture or info on that white toy id lik eto see some more pix of it[/QUOTE] sorry man, that's the only pic iHave from what iRemember, the guy told me it was an 86 he coulda been BSing me but oh well... the engine was a stock 22r and the carb got swapped out for a weber 32/36 after he blew the motor doing doughnuts it had a 4speed trans n' stock rear end. no ac or power steering it had a 3/3 drop, torsioned front n' 3" blocks in the rear 15x8 american racing centerline reps(iDon't remember the tire sizes but the backs were wider) chrome grill, chrome one piece front bumper n' 4wd valance 89-95 chrome rear bumper clear tail light lenses the inside was pretty much stock except for the stereo. he even kept the stock steering wheel it had a tan tacoma bench seat the body was alright... IMO it was a bondo bucket... especially the bed(good from far but far from good kinda thing) the guy kinda wrecked the truck. a lil while after changing the motor he attempted to body work it. the guy traded the rims for stock 14" steelies and the whole truck ended up spray can gray primer he crashed it not too long after that n' got rid of it. whoever got it after him sprayed it back white n' it had a flat black hood that was held down by bungie chords... iDon't even know if this truck is still around anymore. it went from a pretty nice truck to a beat up POS... sad story in that pic the truck was in its prime. it was never the same afterward.
