Need: 1989-1995 Torque converter "asap"

    I need a good torque converter for an "A43D" auto tranny asap... It's a four speed with overdrive. 2WD 1990 truck.

    Let me know if you have one, the local parts places will take 8-10 days to get one in and the pick a part hardly has any toyota's in the yard...

    hey, i can get you a complete auto out of an 86 torque converter included. just seen it run shifts fine through the gears including O/D. guy is parting out the truck. i think its a column shift though but dont know if they'll transfer over. i asked him in a hurry he said $450.

    Yes sir, that's what's on the option sticker... Should it be something else?

    Thanks to all who replied! We called every single transmission shop in Houston and was able to find a rebuilt one. They even had the pump bushing that the stealership said doesn't exist! They wanted me to buy a whole new pump. I guess it's their marketing scheme...

    I thought those years had the A340. But I think that is for fuel injection only. I assume yours is carb'd?
