Hey guys, Nice to have finally registered for TM, been lurking around here for a while now. Some really cool trucks out there, would be a liar if I said I didn't get some inspiration from this site This truck has been in my life for as long as I can remember, my dad brought her home off the lot in 1992. The truck my sister and I learned how to drive on, camping and backpacking trips, fishing trips, you name it, the truck went with us. My dad DD'ed it until i was 19, when he signed the title over to me for my birthday. I was stoked! Anywho, don't have many pictures of it as a new truck, at least not digital anyways. I've got a couple I have snapped within the last three years since I've owned it. As it sits, its bone stock aside from some cosmetic upgrades. 167,300 on a virgin 22re, 5spd, 2wd of course. First thing I changed, as many people do, was the outdated cassette deck. My dad is an old-school kinda guy Ditched the 14x7's for some 15x8's, not sure of the offset. Last but not least, picked up a shaved, welded, and smoothed bumper/valence off craigslist. believe the guy i bought it from is a member here, has a cool longbed hilux. so i put that on after doing a not so great filler job, and that brings us up to date. will get more pics soon and maybe a project thread even. old rims with baldddd tires haha much better. the day my 4runner died and went away test fitting the bumper. me playin around with some old stencils Look forward to learning and sharing with my fellow TM'ers! will update after work.
Looks like a great canvas for custom dd. I think with some work that bumper/valance could clean up nice.
Nice man! Similar story on how I got my truck..I would of kept that 4runner, why did you get rid of it?
if you hit up any mini truck shows let me know... my club and i are always down to kik it. not sure if the other guys are gonna do summer slam again or not, but im def going again.
