Does anyone know if the 89-94 4runner door is the same as the 89-94 pickup?
Found one set with power doors and windows for 120. Could use the power add on.

 

the 4 doors r diff the 2 door r the same. but the power stuff will work.

 

same Idea ... but for a 88? will it work here also?

When it comes to 84-88 bodystyle than yes! But as said when dealing with 89-95 bodystyle the 4 door 4runners have differently shaped doors from the trucks....I already looked at a set I wanted and noticed the shape was different. The 2 door 4runners (if you can find one) are mostly the same and should work.

 

Has anybody thought about retro fitting the regulator and motor and just attach your glass. if the doors are only slightly different i bet you could use the door power options just not the shell.

Worst thing you may need is to drill a hole, I'm assuming of course.....Any thoughts?

I've never seen a 89-94 2 door. Well that sucks. Now I have to look for the pickup.

 

I had power windows in my yota pickup. I took a regulator out of a 4 runner an installed it. You don't have to drill holes or anythin.

 

I did the change from my 2wd doors to 4 Runner doors,no wing window & all the power stuff!!
Remember you will need all the relays,so get them from the donner truck!!

 

you think you could come up with a parts list of factory items to get this done ?

 

The only thing I used was the factory window regulator. I wired in my own switches cuz I was using the power window as how I got in my truck.

 

There are several company's that make a power window kit that goes right in our trucks. Some of the kits are better than others just check them out!!

 

have any info on these ? or at least know what companies make them ?

The TY45-K power window kit is Electric Life's current replacement recomendation for the TY54-K custom fit bolt-in power window kit for 1989 to 1995 Toyota Pickup with vent window. This kit is designed to replace the manual window crank mechanism. In order to install this kit, the cross arms must be cut off of the main regulator arm.
