    Looking good. I haven't checked out your build in a while. The 1uz looks so good in there. I have a 1uz sitiing in the garage for my swap. Just sold the 22RTE and your build has inspired me to start my swap soon..

    thanks! i can't wait to drive it and see what the 1uz will do in such a light truck. are you gunna do the wiring yourself?

    been playing with the wiring a bit

    front lights and fan wiring

    rear taillight and fuel gauge wiring

    underdash wiring in place and awaiting connection

    built a battery box

    and started running comp wiring

    [​IMG].


    i'm gunna be ordering an optima red top, header material, battery cables and some other stuff in the next couple days. also gotta get the adapter for the trans so i can get the driveshaft made

    that dont look "painless" to me hahaha..... lots of solder and heat shrink, cause I know your gonna make it look good and do it right looking at your other work

    been doing more work on the lux. it's almost ready to start

    more parts came

    lokar shifter installed. it's for a chevy 700r4 so i had to do a bit of math and make a new plate where the gear selectors are, also had to flip it from drivers linkage to passenger linkage.

    i had to pull the upper and lower intake plenums to get to the starter. i installed the new battery cable as well as the charge wire from alt to starter and starter to battery.

    i would leave the rubber vibration pad on the trans... it helps a ton with vibration

    so i got fuel hooked up and tryed to start it with no luck. i'm thinking it's not getting spark so i gotta look into it after the show this weekend.

    i added a -6an bung to the stock fuel rail return banjo fitting

    i put some -6an bungs on the tranny lines as well

    rear brakes are plumbed. just gotta bleed them

    got radiator mounts and thermostat bung welded in

    cut the core out finally. i gotta fill the corners where i thought the rad. would be a year and a half ago lol
