    lets get it done soon!
Yeah If I had those 17's on there still I garuntee you it would look a whole lot lower. There was just a big problem with turning radius and rub that is 100% gone with the 14's. I like the moon caps too :waytogo: keep it classy.

I am totally awestruck with how the truck is stanced right now. I am content with the height. The future work I have for it is getting the cat converter tucked, doing a 7" round headlight conversion, getting a wrap around chrome bumper, getting a good system and stereo wired up, and getting some cool pinstriping done that I have never seen. You guys are going to flip over the striping :evil:

Other than that there might be paint in the far future and some front suspension work. Also might throw in a 5spd tranny so the car isnt pinned in 4th on the highways

So we (yankeetaco72,mannyfresh619,sd_yota,HOSHPOSH) Had a little meet/ wrench day where we got some stuff done. Not on my truck But I do not really know where to post this for a misc. build day.

Yankeetaco's abused and deserted 82' had some light shed on it after sitting for a long long time incomplete:
we mocked it back up to show what potential he has with it:

We also got rid of sd_yota's extra cab:
The frame from the extra cab is going to go on the incomplete 82' and then the project will begin once again.

I also snapped some pics of the yota's next to each other. We are all static and all low. Here they are:

Since this is my build thread I will end this with a picture I snapped of my truck today looking really good :clapping:

NICE! Good to see there's work being done on ALL trucks over there at Manny's place where thankfully now he doesn't have to worry about nosey neighbors worrying about his every move. Great work guys!

MannyFresh's truck looks better now than I remember it looking, it looks like his truck and Alex's old truck had a head on collision and parts got stuck to each other! In fact, it really reminds me of mine in that rear shot. (pic #10) hahaha, keep up the good work guys. :waytogo:

Josh...your truck looks a MILLION times better than when I first saw it 3 weeks ago! Expect to see it on the home page of Streetacos.com soon! Nice pics, thanks for sharing! :clapping:

If only the paint was this fresh. I had to spruce it up with some good photo editing to make it look like that :brickknock:

Thanks man. Your truck is looking really good too man! I like how it is progressing.

Thanks man all compliments are appreciated. I am officially LOWWWW

and to Beefed, thanks for the compliments. Alex's old truck looks pretty badass I wish I could have seen it.

And yes another wrench day friday. I may be rhino-lining my bed truck and we are going to try and swap over the cab of the 82 onto the newer frame. That should be a big fun project. I will be sure to bring my camera and take pictures again :drunk:

You know.... Im thinkin that with no cab to get in the way, we should do the ball joint flip, and document the steps sio we can update the writeup.

So today we all ate mexican food and kind of just hung out and tweaked stuff instead of the anticipated frame swap and bj flip. We had the usual crew (mannyfresh, yankee, sd_yota, myself, & dodger fan). Here is what our lazy ass's did manage to get done today:

YankeeTaco threw on some smaller tires to get some more clearance on his truck. We had a little issue with how it was jacked up but it all worked out okay. Now he is horrible low static and he cant drive until the cat and exhaust manifold gets tucked under frame
    [IMG]

Dodger Fan Did something with his rear end. Hahaha. I was too busy doing stuff but I got a picture of it
    [IMG]

We also took the blocks off the frame frame swap for Yankee's 82' and threw em Dodger's way because he is way too high
    [IMG]

Now to my Car. SD_yota brought a timing gun and tuned all of our trucks. Mine was off HORRIBLE it was retarded. haha.

Also My grey and rust color front bumper was not cutting it so I threw on a little bit of cleaner bumper to make it look 10 fold better.

That place looks like mini truck central, I love it! I actually drove by on Valley Parkway today in my wifes Avalanche and saw MannyFresh's truck but didn't see all the other ones. I would have swung in but was headed to the hospital to see my wife & new kid after getting some Mexican food and hitting FedEx.

Yankee, your truck is low as hell now! It looks like you could barely get a toe under the frame now! I can't believe you put smaller wheels on it, your NUTS! haha

This thread is a good read and Josh you make me laugh with the way you end it...MY thread, MY truck, hahahaha. good move.

Josh, I have to admit, the pics of your straight little old Yota look so killer now that the stance is so sweet! It's a entirely different truck.

It's great to see you guys getting together for wrenchathons again...KEEP IT UP! (or KEEP IT LOW I guess I should say) :waytogo:

James, I got your text, just have had a lot going on, sorry to hear about your horrible Labor Day woes....we'll hook up when it's time.

Congratulations on beefed Jr. Man! I have to keep it funny for the few readers so they come back. haha. and we always have a good time.

When alex was doing my timing he said my truck was "retarded". I sat there quietly, I was offended. I though in my head "Did he really just call my truck retarded to my face?" I had no idea it was an actual term for timing a car. Hahaha

Yankee's exhaust manifold and cat are so low you can not get a pinky under. You probably could not even get half a pinky under. He gained around probably a 1/2" to full 1" drop in the rear from the tires. He always has to be the lowest and push the limit.

    :drunk: -> :puke: -> :confused: -> :waytogo: -> :drunk:
