Yea i hear ya. I snaged the last set someone was selling on here and havent heard of anyone else selling any. Sorry bro
Its all good. My truck is a 97 tacoma but was told 89-95 pickup drop leafs should fit. Was hoping to find a set used without spending full price in case they dont.
That's an old picture of my 01 prerunner. Doesnt look anything like that anymore. 01 prerunner (most current picture) 97 tacoma(daily) In the rear it has the middle leaf removed and a 1" block giving about 4" of drop but it rides like crap. reason Im looking for drop leafs.
How does removing the middle leaf and 1in blocks give you 4in of drop? Isnt the middle leaf only 1in and blocks would be 1in witch would equal a total of 2in drop. Love both trucks.
With a 3" block, there was a 1" gap between fender and tire. With a 3" block and middle leaf pulled. the entire tire tucked. tire was about 3" thick removing the middle leaf is about 3" give or take.
Wait a minute here..................... So your telling by removing the middle leaf you get 3in of a drop???????????? I was always told 1 to 1 1/2 in tops. So by removing the one leaf helps the springs de-arch more which gives you an extra 2in of a drop?????
yup, look at the arch on this pic its a sad face : ( well almost a sad face but you get the idea and in this pic with just a 3" block its a : ) face
BUT i Flipped my lower leaf, normally the arc on the springs is down, so i flipped the lower leaf so the arc is up.
Depending on how beat to hell your leafs are itl drop more. I honestly dont think the overload leaf affects the arc. Its flat so it gives the main leaf no shape
no, the ride sucked, so I put it back up to how it was before. the story is in my this was my truck build thread. http://www.toyotaminis.com/forum/build-up-project-threads-25/my-truck-8977/
