Today I changed oil on my 3/4 ton chevy Tomorrow I work on my s10 and still waiting for my Toyota parts from Cando.
Took 2 months to get my 4 link, so have fun. Im gonna cut my exhaust hangers off cause 2 of them drag on the ground, raise the exhaust and measure for room for my muffler. Continue on interior.
That's rediculous what is their problem?.. Today I will be working on my s10 and my fullsize Chevy and walking around with a grumpy look on my face because I just found it it will most likely take a couple months to get my damn Cando parts
Nah man depends on what you ordered. Its show season and Steve gets Hella busy. I ordered mine before show season so I got no clue why it took him so long to make something he makes on a regualr basis. Also depending on what you got he outsources a ton of stuff through Grant Kustoms as well.
Got my hangers cut off. Mocked up a template for my side view mirrors i just gotta figure out how to make the arm connect at an angle since the tops of the doors are angled and the mirror arms are straight, If I angle in the arms the mirrors will set funny.
Well on my way to summer madness this year about 15 miles from the show my truck jerks I think to myself WTF. But keep going noticed it slowing down an not wanting to accelerate an I smell something so I pull over. Rear end felt hot but decided to try an limp it to the rest of my club. Start going the 2 miles to the exit pull off an hear a clanking noise take it out of gear gone. Start goin again but only have 4th gear all the others make a horrible rattling clanking grinding sound
Swapped 75-78 disc brakes onto my 67 stout...Direct bolt on swap.. Nice! Built 20r and 5 speed This week and next weekend.
PIPES and Muff, had to make a flanged pipe piece to go over the end of the hedder because the one that came with it was only like 2" n Im runnin 2.5" all the way back. need to get some longer bolts for it, tmrw she will be breathing thru some fresh new pipes!!! gonna see if i can get away without having to bend any of the straight pipes if all goes smoove, welding it all , dont want to use clamps.
Today me and my girl got the low back bench seat into my s10. Gonna be starting on the interior soon so I can get it ready for the Super Run in Henderson, Nevada this September. Was hoping to have the Toyota chassis built before then but money has gotten in the way of progress. Maybe next year though.
