sorry haven't been on here in 2.5 months. if you are still coming feel free to stop by. pm me for info i'm planning to fab a set of headers. i actually will be doing them soon thanks thanks thanks and yes lol ok
here y'all go here is when i was half way done wiring the valves/switchbox and my son playin with the switches http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dc87b_AzO-4 front shocks and mounts rear brake line all the floorpans are done, i had to raise a section under the seat to fit the flowmaster mufflers firewall is done as well
thanks thanks thanks its basically like wiring your switches like normal, except they're all together in one spot. one terminal block is power and the other (black wires) is grounds. i tied all the grounds together, and the top post of the terminal goes to ground on the cab. the power wire goes into the top post with the colored wire and provides power to the switchbox. i did it like that so i can upgrade to a 7 switch box in the future. thanks i got the front shocks from Speedway Motors - Street Rod Parts, Race Parts, Ford Flathead Parts, Sprint and Midget Racing Parts, Pedal Car Parts. they're pro shocks for hot rods. the mounts i made myself. thanks
i spent a lot of time on the hilux the last few weeks finishing a lot of little things.... james (bodybagged) came over this past friday and helped me get the truck thrown together. THANKS A TON JAMES!! took it to the Art of Noize Independence Day Show on saturday then took it to another smaller show at lake pleasant and with my old 79 that james has bagged within a week it should be torn completely apart again and start getting chassis painted, finish cab bodywork and priming, and get it running for west coast nats in september.
it will be running soon enough. cab paint probably won't be for a long while. gunna be a lot of block sanding going on lol
looks amazing, in a couple of years every ones going to look back on this truck and talk about how it inspired them to step up their game
