Flux core welder, that's your problem right there, those things make peoples lives miserable. Sell it, give it away, or do everyone a favor and scrap it. The welder not the truck. Its still salvagable.

Yeah, I threw in the towel after I finished cleaning the grease off my hands.

not too much lately. donuts, filling up gas, oilchange soon to come, and taking my broken bumpstops, cutting off the studs, and then drilling them out to shove some bolt and some screw in there for hte meanwhile. GHETTO.

The rising sun hood is nice. Wetsanded her for once, not perfect yet, but polished it and waxed it, at least. Will probably remove the hood spacers, I'll think about it. 215/60/16's will go on the rear, the 215/65/16's will be swapped out with 205/40/16's and will go on the front.
I need to get a pic of the axle in, still. off by about 4mph (not *THAT* bad, but still slower than before.) If I MANAGE to break an 8" diff with a stock 22RE and automatic, idk wtf I'm able to do.
I plan to maybe wetsand the fenders and bumper, respray them again, polish, and wax.

Expect the truck with a nice wax job and may even be lower than before :)

Just noticed the rising sun is gone. Nice contrast with the wheels, grille and tint now.

She comes and goes. I'm running a "low profile" for a while. of course, there's nothing low profile about the truck, but the rising sun will be coming back everyonce in a while.

You do know I have two hoods right? lol

And thanks man, I figured she needed a bit more spicing!

I think it looks sick basic black and red like that. The red hood with the black wheels is sick.

I didn't know you have two hoods. Now you need two sets of wheels like those so you can rock both color combos. lol

I do like the cleanliness of it like it is now.

hey man, nothing better than to work on a project! at least you have an xcab to play with :waytogo:

Enkei's? If they're legit and decently priced (also in good shape), I say go for it. Nothing better than changing how the truck looks. a set of healthy wheels and tires make a nice difference.

I don't have anything in mind right now. I'm awaiting to fully enter the Air Force and we'll see from there.

Realistically, once I'm in the airforce, I'm deciding whether to save up and buy another car (07 STi) or buy a nice set of wheels and tires for the truck, and I'm talking about CCW's. Complete Custom Wheels. I'm thinking 18"x16" wheels. :D
Slapping some overfenders, and if those don't work, I'm getting dually fenders in the rear. If I have 18" wheels that wide... I'm not afraid to push the limits and cut those fenders. Honestly, I can talk but only time and money can tell. I may need a V8 to push the wheels too lol (I want a Lexus V8!)

jyaortead, I have the red and gold steelies for winter, but usually the red hood goes on during winter.
And thanks! Having a clean truck always meant alot to me!

Thanks Dion! I'm not really a fan of the extreme black and red type of stuff, but I think the truck looks great since i already have the black grille.

Thanks guys, can't wait to keep progressing!
