Hmmm maybe rub on inner and the center bore is probably bit small to fit over front dust cap. I bought some rims with a 73CB and they fit on rear perfect but a bit small for front but Im assuming this is because the rims have a lip about a 1/2in deep then it tapers back in so maybe these would fit great. Im just concerned on the offset.
ok i got them for................................................................................................................. wait for it $25 all four!!!!
running 2wd fenders, up front it should tuck within the fender, you should have almost 1" of clearance between the outter wheel lip and the fender line. depending on your choice in tire and drop amount, it should clear pretty well.
SD YOTA, rite now it proly a 3/3 static w/ 205/60/15s. now w/ the 17s i was thingking 245/40 or more narrow tire without stretching it to much. then deppending on how it sits, i would either remove the middle leaf and do a bj flip.....any thoughts.....
how she sits now and a photoshop of what im going for...cant decide on what to do your .02cents needed
Photoshop it with the lip red and spokes silver. If that doesnt look good I would stick with leaving them silver. I know your trying to go for a ratrod look but Ive never been one for painted spokes. Your other rims look good painted. I think you should go more for a 225/235 with that offset. 225 would stretch a good amount but i think the 235 would look clean. Get the rims/tires on first then make a decision on how you want to drop it.
eurofreak2002, dont like it with the red lip. mite have just leave it silver. or just sell them and keep my old ones... doesnt have to be "rat rod" look either.
Yah your right that looks lame. Id keep them man that was a deal on those rims and they are a bit better lookin than your last.
i would not go any lower a profile than 40 series tire ont hose wheels. hell, even a 45 or 50 series would probably look and perform better in that case. me personally if you want a decent ride and look. i would look into a 215 or 225/50 series on that wheel. it will ride better and also perform better on that wheel. it wont look so stretched out due to the 50 series height. it will also be a better tire fitted to the truck..... a 245 will be pretty wide and may cause you some floating issues in the rain, and also have a tendency to pull your truck along grooves in the road making it darty..... once you have the tires set in place with the wheels, i would drop it just low enough to eliminate the tire to fender gap. it will look clean and sporty. thats just my 0.02
