remove inner fender lining, remove fender bolts and screws, SMALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL Roll. last thing you wanna do is mess up the fenders on the bed. hammer the inner wheel wells up front. my 215/60/16's up front don't rub. 225/40/18 btw, 22RE? check that VAFM sensor connection and TPS connection.
22re. Nothing has been done to it since the last time it ran. I had put an adapter and cone filter on, and it ran great. Today it arĂȘte acting up, so I swapped back to the factory setup, no difference, still dies. Checked my maf plug and it is good, will check the gps when I get home. Also gonna pick up a fuel filter and change that in the morning. As for the tires, this is a bagged truck, and I doubt I'll ever take it off road. The reason even considering the 215/35's is for a hair more clearance when laid out. I already have the inner fender and rear wheel wells cut out, but I can trim a hair more if needed. Also, I'm trying not to go much taller than the tires I have now. Of course I wouldn't be able to remember what size they are of the top of my head, but they are halfway between the 225/40 and the 215/35's in overall height. If I could get 215/40s super cheap, I would.
I didnt do much on my truck because the alternator went out on my new honda. Now I have to pull the front bumper and head light off to replace it. Yay for tiny cars.
Changed intake mani, deleted EGR, rebuilt and upgraded to weber carb, new battery cables, uh...pumped up tire, and the best part, took it for a DRIVE. first time in three months! Good to have her back on the road...build thread to come once I can get the pics
DeSmoggafied... and disconnected all wires n hoses, n unbolted from the trans. Gonna pull the 22r out for some TLC, headers and new carb!!!
I had till the 31 of this month or they were late and the price would of jumped like 50 some odd bucks
