thanks guys just did my torsions last nite, bout to add my 3" block. on a diff. note did you guys take out the bump stop in the front? will paint the wheels soon
just finished the 3"block fit like a charm. next the wheels...you guys are rite it drives like but its the price you pay for beauty
Howd the ride change wit the blocks? The leafs or shocks werent touched. My ride wasnt affected til i pulled a leaf
do a semi-gloss..... looks good....... save up some money and do DJM lower control arms to get that ride quality back. drop it enough to erase the tire to fender gap and you will be pimpin!!!
~Jetas~ with the T.B. cranked it kinda suks. i just put in the blocks last nite but didnt have a chance to drive her yet. ~SD YOTA~ you aint feelin the anodized red? i really like both. as for the tire gap, im ok with it, i still have to load my Duc. so i dont want it to low.
Ooooh!! Aha!! You can reindex them. I did it on my nissan cuz the ride was way too dam soft n the front end felt like the wheels were just goin thru their range of motion without any kind or resistance.
re-key the torsions on the front. i think with your model it should be an option. take them appart and you should be able to re-key for a better preload. to be honest, not feeling the anodized red.... but thats just me a semi gloss will give it just enough luster to look good. flat may look too "old" looking once the paint wears in and dries. gloss will look too shinny, but the semi gloss will give it the flat look with a cleaner shine to it. an option to go lower would be to install helper bags on it. whenever you load the bike in, it will self level for the load and retain the ride height. makes loading a bike allot easier with the tailgate a few inches lower to the ground too
