My (new to me) 91 toyota extracab

I am in Sacramento. Here's what I just got a few days ago. I'm thinking about dropping the rear another inch. But first thing to do is fix the rub on the right inside firewall and I don't know how what to do. It couldn't be the 18's since the left doesn't rub. Any ideas to solve this guys?

I see a plastic flap attach to the firewall. Looks like it is rubbing the strut bar to. Here is a picture of it. Hopefully someone will come along with an answer.

Yah take that plastic fender well out COMPLETELY. Then bang down the rest of it with a big hammer. However do not bang on the strut arm that wont do you any good. How wide are your tires?? You might have to get a small spacer or something

Not sure of the width of the rim, but I think it is either 18X7 or 18X8. I'll have to stop by the auto parts and check on the spacers.

You could maybe adjust your steering stops to stop before the rim hits the strut bar.

If that is possible I think it will do. I will check my repair manuel if there is anything in there.

Met up with Kristian today and he agreed that I need 5/16 spacers. I'll stop by auto parts store and check if they have them.

Did you even try adjusting the steering stops? It seems to me that it would be better than spacers. The steering stop adjusters are on the spindles.
