Im lookin at some lexus 18s there 8 inches wide in front and 8.5 in the back.. The only concern I have is that the rim on the front driverside will hit my steering rod when I have the truck layed out does anybody know
Sounds like the 2nd gen IS wheels, your are most likely gonna have run a spacer or wheel adapters due to the IS positive offset and smaller center bore.
Alright how big of spacer would I need... and sorry not worried about the rim hittin imctualy concerned about the upper control arm hittin will it camber too hard im runnin steelies no and it rubs when layed out... do u know a cure for this
Does any body have a pic of therer rig with these rims there lexus 18 inch aluminum staggered 5 spoke
I believe these are the same offset Can't recall the offset but they did fit. Same size and stagger too. When I first had them on, I had to bore out the centers to fit (from 60.06 to 67.06mm). Before the notch was done, Very slight rubbing issues seen at the back. It was rubbing the ends of the crossmember just above the axle. Since you are bagged, this shouldn't effect you. Up front The only real problem I had was that the upper ball joint zerk fitting was scoring the inside of the rim. I ended up unscrewing the fitting and just plugging them up. Saved them for regreasing. I eventually added half inch spacers up front for better turning radius but that's up to you. Sorry I don't have any clearance shots. Pictures are old. Hope this helps and good luck
Thanks No, I've actually been bagged for about 2 years now. I'm in the process of buttoning up a body drop on this now. It's been almost a year now on that. I plan to have her finished with paint and body by the end of this year though.
YUp those r the same rims thanks.. How much did u pay for them.. They want 240 for the set... just makin sure im not over paying
240? Sounds like a good deal! Even better if the tires on them are still good. I paid an additional 80 bucks for the center boring the 4 wheels(60 for the boring and another 20 for rebalancing) Nice find!
