W58 Installed along with other goodies Well it only took me 6months to get this installed but well worth the wait. While was doing it I installed a LCE 13lbs billet steel flywheel, exedy clutch, new flywheel bolts and clutch bolts and swapped my bell housing, speed sensor and gear over. Took myself and Vicoor about 8hrs to install. Had alot of cleaning up of both parts and just taking our time to insure and great outcome. I'm very pleased with the results. 1st gear it much taller and and 5th @70 I was turning 3Krpm, now it is about 2600rpm. So this should also give me better mpg. The flywheel is super sweet from take off all the way though the top of 3rd. The 13lbs flywheel helps it stay in the power range with getting on it and lets it rev up way faster. sweet, I didnt know you could swap the speed gear out ? I trashed my 4 speed, guess I shoulda kept it.

This must be transmission month on craigslist, you got your w58 for a steal, my buddy just picked one up for 100$ and i just got a r154 for a project for 200$ hit up craigs people deals are out there
