Hey, I have a bone stock 94 king cab that I'm planing on bagging in the next few months. My question is this. What offset do I need to tuck? The rims I've been looking at on the discount tire web site are 17 x 8 with a plus 22 offset. Will that give me room move laid out? Tire size is 215-40-17. Also if you know of a cheaper place to buy rims/tires that would be helpful.
Um ebay is cheap for rims so is NLmotoring I got 17's with stock offset like plus 38 I think and they tuck right in nicely anything will fit really as long as you don't go negative or reverse offset
thanks, ive been looking and it looks like the +22 offset of that rim wont be enough. it looks as if everyone is running around a +40 or better.
dude wtf is in your avatar ?!?!? Im not sure what offset you need I have 18x8 with 0 offset and they almost tuck, so I would say a plus 12 would tuck ?? im not so sure though.... 22 should be fine
just a turd....lol i dont have any pix of my truck. im going to start working on it soon. i'll take pix then. no one wants to see a stock truck.
hahaha yah it kinda got rank for a bit. Nah man we here are kinda pic whores we like to see what people got and are working with. Dont worry if its stock now cause it wont be for long Im sure then you can share the joy of new parts with us all.
dont hate me i put a pic of my last truck up. its a monkey slammed hardbody. i'll talk at you guys tomorrow. later.
Hey gang, if I could tag onto this thread with a closely related question . . . I see guys with Mustang Bullitt wheels on their trucks. I love the look. But I tried on a couple different ones and they didn't clear the top ball joint up front. Are people using spacers to run them? Or are there different widths and offsets that I don't know about? Thanks!
