So I rebuilt my carb. Before I rebuilt it the truck would only start with starter fluid when cold and it had a terrible stumble when the gas pedal was initially pressed. (the accel pump was froze up..that was one for sure problem)

I rebuilt it and now it will only start for about 5 sec. It seems the only gas it gets is when I pump the pedal the accel pump squirts some in. The float bowl window shows pretty much exactly half full so I know the carb has gas in it.

Could it be a vacuum line that isn't bringing constant gas flow to the engine?

    What should I check?

    Thanks!

when did you change your fuel filter last? Sounds like engine is starving for fuel
