hi guys, i'm trying to get my 86 2wd toyota project started again, i just came across a too good of a deal on some wheels($200) and would love to put them on the yota that i'm bagging, the wheels are 19 x 8's with a 40mm offset, i know the 19's will fit but i'm concerned about the offset and the brake caliper, the lug pattern is correct, 5 x 114, so does anyone foresee it not fitting?

Sweet! glad to hear that, i'm gonna test fit the wheels sometime this week and take a few pics, if i have to get like a 6mm spacer or something that won't be a problem, these wheels are some my buddy bought for his 350z but the offset was wrong, so he is selling them to me way way lower than he is asking from anyone else, and i just can't say no to them, ha.

+40mm offset on a 8" may get a little close to the inner wells of the truck. MAYBE. but you can probably pull it off anyway. and those 6mm spacers, you might need them, but just try the wheels first.

They should be fine, but you may need a wheel spacer bigger than 6 mil. I have 25mm spacers on my 18's that are a 42mm offset. They did rub until I installed the spacers, now they clear everything.

Ok so i test fit one of the 19's today, looks like i am getting them!

Comparison of the 19" with 245/35's and my oem 14" with 195/75's
    [IMG]

pretty flush with the 40mm offset, when i put the 4x4 fenders i have on i may get some spacers.

the wheel only hit when turning to the right, but i'm bagging it and cutting all the fenders, etc out anyways,

all donked out, but i'm bagging it, fair comparison for now. I had to pop out the axis center cap to fit it, but i even used to stock lugs, i figured i would need tuner lugs.

just the inner fender, i didn't take measurements, but at quick glance if i cut it i could turn the wheel in roughly another 2 inch's

nice thats encouraging, besides on this site, i have only seen maybe 10 bagged toyota's in person, and usually people roll with 17's up front because of clearance, i know yours is the next gen after mine but i think i can make the 19's fit nicely if you can push 20's. nice truck btw
