    32/36 DGV Carburetor w/Manual Choke)
    32/36 DGEV Carburetor w/Electric Choke)

    New to all of this... Purchased the 1974 Hi-Lux and the carb needs replaced.

    Either one is better than the water choke in my opinion, but depends on which you prefer, finding a good spot for the manual choke pull knob, running the cable to the carb. making some type of bracket to mount the cable so it pulls correctly, or just connecting to a 12volt keyed source, other than that both work and adjust the same. :thinking:

    12volt keyed source sounds a bit simpler...lol

    I just swtiched from stock to weber 32/36 electric choke. Best thing I ever did! truck wise at least :)

    To what source have people been using on the DGEV? It's just a wire?

    Walk me through this a bit as to what to connect the electric choke to. I'm a carb installing virgin :love:
