Does anyone know what has to be constant? I know the truck won't start without the red one connected.

shonuff to the ER! SHONUFF TO THE ER!

some guys just put a small filter on that front valve cover fitting. it blows a mist of oil out otherwise. on mine, i have one heater hose connected to the radiator down low on the driver side. and the other hose connected to the tube that runs above the oil filter to the front cover. i blocked off the ones from the intake manifold and the one off the head between the intake runner.

It attaches to the stock air cleaner assembly. I'll snap a pic of mine when I get home from work.

I think the plugs under the manifold are taken up by something else, but I'll check. what would the filter be called to top off the valve cover?

Man, I gotta get a weber soon...

ok im gonna handle em as they came in...

    coolant hose:

that is the feed line for the heater. prolly goes to the pass side tube thing that bolts to the center of the intake. you shouldn't have a extra port like that tho, got a pic of under the intake? block something else off?

and like everybody said thats just a breather, ideally it would be hooked up after the air filter but before the carb. or filtered somehow to prevent crap from getting in.

thanks SHO! if you're in the area stop by sometime. I've been driving the truck around for the last 3 wks cause my daily driver broke down. the truck runs really rich like you said. i don't get very good mileage (maybe 15?). plus, my exhaust is all f'd up and needs to be replaced. I'd like to put power steering on it too to make it more drivable. shouldn't be too hard right?

ps swap is just the brackets, pump, steering box, pitman arm, and possibly the column if it measures a different length. find a parts truck and get all the parts from its setup.
