First welcome. Great to se another VA person. For drop I would do lower control arms for the front good for 2" and then drop leafs 3" and or blocks2"-3" in the back. Might have to notch the frame in the rear. If you use the search button you can find a whole bunch of knowledge of lowering these trucks.

You might have to trim the inner fenders with both drop arm and spindles but yes you can.

I like the 4runner bumper with 2wd fenders. That truck is a few exterior mods and paint for a clean cruiser/show truck.

Whoever mono leafed the truck needs a swift kick in the pecker. Axle wrap till the leaf breaks then you're screwed.

What are you asking about stock? The block? Of course it isn't stock neither is the lack of 2nd leaf and overload springs.

@ Roach - Its got the 4wd fenders. Doesn't look like it n the pics but it does.

@ white - have not clue what u mean by the mono leaf. So if this is a screwed up rear end setup..which route should i go with? Whats SUPPOSED to be there? Im all about having things done the right way..so please lmk.

Basically yes there is a second leaf spring under the main then an overload on the bottom. It's ok to remove the second leaf as it let's the main rest flat on the overload.

My 89 build thread has a rundown of my setup with the all important pictures.

So i fixed the single "stressed cracked" leaf spring problem. Went to the junkyard and pulled some factory springs and out on. I now have all my leafs :) at first i couldnt put my 4" blocks back on bc the previous person hacked the U bolts to short...so after riding around a day lookn like a moonshine runner...i purchased new u bolts and dropped it back down. Just felt like letting u guys know. Lol
