79-95 2 wheel drive and 79-85 solid axle toyota frames are identical dimensions so any mount meant for a 4x will be just fine it's the steering etc that is the issue as mention prior. I'd NEVER do any business with NWOR. Their name really is an acronym for No Warranty Or Refunds and there is no getting around that. So I hope your parts come in correct or you'll be fawked...
Trans mount is the only one I can't buy off the shelf so if anything that would be one I'm looking for.
i used sbc hugger headers on my v8 install and they had the most clearance out of all the headers i tryed i also tryed stock manafolds and still nothing fit like these
Hooker block huggers are extremely burly and at a fantastic price point. I ran them on my 84 4x with a sbc and they fit extremely tight to the engine.
i was thinking bout doing the chevy 4.3 in my yota. ive nvr seen it done. but i think it would look clean.
I wonder if the OP ever went 302 or 350 The NWOR mounts worked well, 7 years now sportin' the 302 and T5 and I love it. The swap is such a piece of cake, anyone with decent skills can do it. The only thing you can't get off the shelf are headers and the trans bracket. You have to make those. Use a dual sump Foxboy pan and your front crossmember fits perfectly in the void and steering in front of. Buy an oil filter relocation kit because the stock 302 filter will hit the drivers side frame rail. For a T5, you have to cut and weld, or for the cheapies, just pound in the passenger side firewall about 1" for the bellhousing to fit. This is on a 94-95 bellhousing. Convert the T5 from a cable clutch to a hydraulic clutch. You need an aftermarket push slave and either make or buy the slave mount. Cut a shifter hole location about 6" back. You need a custom driveshaft with a 28 spline yolk from a Mustang or alike. Then customize the rest of the truck in a snowball effect. And voila.
