I have a 1985 Toyota pickup that originally had a bench seat that I have swapped buckets into. I am trying to get a Toyota pickup console to install in-between the seats but every console I have dropped into the truck does line up with the shifter trim piece. Does anybody know if there is different trim for around the console for bucket vs bench seat trucks. I am attaching a pic to show what it looks like. I know I could trim it up and make it work but I don't really want to modify it.

Does it line up outside of the truck? If it does, then somethingmight be off when installing.

If I'm understanding correct - you're trying to combine a bucket seat truck's center console with your bench seat truck's shift boot/console piece? Based on your findings, you may end up having to get the whole thing from the donor bucket seat truck.
