Torsion problem

    Need help to raise my truck up? I think my torsion bars r broken our frozen cuz wen i twist the torsions the front dosent go up it still stays same hight. And my truck is lower in the front then the back?

    Are you jacking up the front when you do this? If not give it a try.. I've never done torsion bars but I've read a little about them

    Put the front end on jackstands. And are u holding the nuts while turning the bolt?

    Me n my fren jacked it up n we twisted the torsion but the front didnt come higher it jus stayed same hight so we took it of the jack n tryed it but it still is the same hight? Do you guys think my torsion is broken from being that low for to long.

    ^____ What he said. You can't just turn the bolt, you have to "hold the nuts" :p

    Its only guna raise up so much via torsions. Unless ur dropped

    My truck is only dropped by torsion in front not spindles. I wanna rais it jus to even it out from the back n so i so i wont get another ticket.

    You have to hold the nuts on top. There are 2 of them and one is a jam nut. 7/8 wrench is what you need...

    No i bought the truck lowerd n i dont no alot about the torsion so could some one send me a pic of the too nuts i have to hold and whats a jam nut?

    If you looking at the torsions get 2 nuts. Hold one and spin the other.

    Come my house with a 12pack and we can do um

    K i got another problem Just put in a cold air intake Nd it is making a loud noise?? When i had my stock intake the nois wasnt loud only when i opend the filter box up it would be loud but now that i changed it to the cold air inake its loud because it dosnt have the plastic box to cover the noise dose any one no wat it could be?

    The "cold air intake" is going to make that noise. The sound you are hearing is the air being sucked into the motor. Its fine. Did you figure out your T bar issue?
