Ok..so ive decided to notch it. Im gonna go with the bolt in...only bc i wanna keep it static and i dont need much. I found a kit similar to the one on streettaco. It offers 1 1/2" more clearance. Does the streettaco kit offer more? I cant find any measurements on it.the picture is the kit in talking about being similiar.

My advise is get another lager notch,as you will bag it in the future & this is way to small. Yes you will have to cut the bed out,or rise it up! Making or buying a cover that goes over what area has been cut out is not a problem!
Also you than spend $$ once rather than doing it twice!!

Go with a 8', I'm not bodied or Z'ed, but do lay frame!
As for a larger bolt in ,I haven't seen one, & any bolt in I would weld after in place!!

Look in my build thread and you'll see how low you can go with a simple mini notch and still have an unmolested bed.

About an inch lower than that. since that picture I made some 4" angled blocks for it. The lip of the wheel is just a tiny bit below the fender lip now.

Looking good. So you're now running 3" drop leafs and 4'' blocks out back? Hows it been riding since you last checked in on this thread?
