so today my truck started making a very loud and very high pitch squeak, squeal. im not too sure where its coming from as of tonight but im going to try and check some things. the noise first started off to be a faint squeak/squeal and it sounded like it was coming from the passenger front tire. anybody have any ideas?

the noise goes away as i slow down and does not change if i rev the motor so ive ruled out belts.
kind of? its pretty fucking loud so when i turned this corner and it started happening it freaked me out

Check the belts anyway. There's really nothing else in the front that would make that noise.
Anything brake or bearing related would be a grinding sound. And it would be noticeable all the time.
Did you check your wheel wells for tire rub?
That's the only other thing that comes to mind.

belts are fine. and im checking right now for tire rub but i dont think thats the issue since ive hammered this side out so it has nothing to rub on. i do feel a little bit of resistance from the brakes and when i spin the wheel i can hear a faint grinding noise. im going to jack up the rear and turn the truck on and see if it squeals

If it aint a wheel issue make sure none of the pulleys are seized

I was just thinking the same thing.
Also, check the alignment of the pulleys.
