just wondering if a 84-88 hilux steering wheel will fit on a 79-83 hilux,
is the spline count the same or is the the spline the same size?

I would think they would share the same . Don't see why yota would change spline size . Between the generations

That steering wheel will fit. I've even seen a '77 Celica GT steering wheel & one from a 90's Tercel on our trucks.

Why not go with a Grant GT steering wheel? They are affordable a looks good.

    Thanks,
I want a stock looking wheel with the horn in the middle and have found one cheap but was unsure if it would fit, i really hate accidently hitting the horn when making a turn.
