speedometer / speed sensor HELP plz

    okay my odometer and speedometer doesn't work, so i replaced the speed sensor and it still doesn't work........UGHH any one know what the problem and how to fix? plz and thank you

    could be the connectors in the back of the instrument cluster being loose or something.

    k so take the cluster out and check them? any clues as to what to look for? thank you for the tips

    Also check the speedometer cable to insure its not snapped in the housing or disconnected from the cluster as well.

    yea my temp and fuel gauges work fine

    took the cluster out today, checked all cables and they all look fine and are all connected.....

    Even though your cable might be connected and look good doesnt mean its not snapped or tangled inside the housing that runs from cluster/firewall/behind engine/to tranny. Might sound like a pain but if you can pull it out clip one end so it can move then turn other end if its easy to turn or you can pull it out the housing its junk. Part is like $80 from dealer and takes 15 minutes to install, hardest part is getting it off cluster and through firewall. Pointer if you change it would be disconnect from tranny first and pull it up through engine bay this gives enough slack you can get your cluster out to easily pull the cable off and make sure it lines up correctly when reinstalling.
