my truck will crank up just fine sometimes runs for 30 mins. than shuts off. or it wont start at all.. or it will start up for a min or 2 that shut off.. i know its a spark issue as ive ran a spark light from the distributor to the spark plug and let it run. it will have spark than it will just lose spark. it comes and goes..

I would check your igniter & your pickup coil (generator).
