its been a while since ive been here... i just went to lower my spare the other day (full size) and found that the bolt is rusted... i emptied 1/2 can of pb blaster on the bolt (or what i could get) and the plates that hold the wheel on... tried again today and still wasnt able to get it... any suggestions on what i can do to get this thing free? the clearence from the top of the tire to the bottom of the bed is not enough to get arm in there to take a hammer so im pretty much stumped at this point... then... after i get it down... what are some cheap/inexpensive ways to lock the spare in the back of my bed? id say somewher ein the 30-40 range...

    thanks

use a torch to get the bolt out. And for the tire mount, fabtech has a prerunner style mount for around $40.

I'd like to see where to get that fabtech spare tire mount for $40

everywhere I see them they are $150+++

even the cheap flat mount is $70
