so i got a 350 sbc for free

    then chevy to ford. I thought you were using a toyota rear.

    i def think you should drop it in! its pretty easy the parts are out there to make it go quickly. check mine out i dropped one in my 2wd, i have 3 buddies that have 4wds with sbc...and u can have a huge range of power if u want to go nuts u can but if u jus want a nice cruiser u can have that too. all in the setup.

    they could do a moroso electric pump...gets rid of the pulley and frees up 2 1/2 inches up front

    I def am gunna drop this sucker in that's for sure... just want to have all my facts and parts and what not before I dive in.... before getting into toyota mini truck I was one of those honda tuner jdm guys cause that's what my friends are and I've done engine swaps on those but never rwd and never stuffed a v8 into a tiny ass bay lol, everyone on here is tons of help you guys are awesome! And as soon as I get started I will be posting pics along the way!:waytogo:

    cant complain it frees up a lil hp by gettin rid of engine drag by losing a pulley and its high flow...only reason i ude it is for the extra room bcuz i put a 3 core aluminum tru kool rad in mine...

    I was thinking of mounting the rad in the bed for bay room. Should I leave the mechanical fan on the engine and also if I use the engines stock mechanical fuel pump can I hook my fuel line to it with no problems I.e fuel starvation?

    I wouldn't think you'd have fuel starvation issues using the stock fuel pump, but I've been wrong before. If your mounting the rad in the bed, there's no reason to leave the stock mechanical fan on the engine.
