Just getting into, as in just bought, or just getting into, as in preparing/planning to buy?

 

Oh I just bought my 73 hilux a few months ago after searching for a lil older truck for a few years. I had a 1980 dodge D-50 that I wish I had taken better care of and had to junk it like 3 years ago. So this sick 73 popped up for a deal and boom I have a new truck I'm trying to take care for the longer haul. After searching the internet for hilux info this website had the best info and the most helpful stuff when lurking the last two months while I was tinkering with things. Now I'm all joined up.

This is the wheel swap I did right away. The top ones were dangerous to drive on and I snagged the bottom wheels for $100 with one week old tires! Stoked on it.

 

Looks good! I often think I should have held out for a 70's truck. Those rims look great. What are you plans for her?
