Could i shave the lip off of my rear drums so i can fit camry wheels On it or should i do a 3/4 spacer to clear the lip?
I think, (not absolutely positive) that the lip is there to provide ridigity to the drum as the brake shoes are pushing against it to keep the drum from trying to deform as outward pressure is applied. I could be wrong, and it could work, but I'm not sure I would want to try it.
2001 to 2004 i think. 17 inch wheels. I was gona have the back one machined but decided to save that money and maybe go with spacers but the ones small enough are iniversal and those are sketchy i hear.
