I've noticed my right turn signal is, well, nonexistant. When I turn it on, it makes one single click noise, and does nothing else. No lights light up. Not even on the dash. I have a cut wire sticking out of the rear passenger tail light housing. I can post a pic if needed... but does anyone know what the solitary click may be suggesting?

    Thanks!

Mine kinda does the same thing. When I use my right turn signal sometimes the light blinks once then it just buzzes. If I touch the switch arm a little it will work, this is due to a bad switch but I just deal with it. Try to see if that wire has power when the switch is activated. If you can post a pic that would be great.

Do they make aftermarket switches? I know when I had my '73 Dart it was a pain to find a signal switch for it and they were more widely produced at the time. I'll post a pic as soon as I can of the cut wire.

Do you have blinker solenoid under the dash ? Round metal tube thing usually close to the fuse box

None that I've seen... Did they use solenoids on '74s?

Your blinker relay should be behind where the stock radio would be up against the firewall. But your problem is more likely that wire. Without continuity throughout that relay can't push the amperage needed so it overloads and stops. If you fix that and all your lights are connected and it still acts up, then it may be your switch. You could pull it off and clean the contacts and smear with dielectric grease that will usually clear it up.

Brovender, did you ever figure out this problem? Almost the same thing is happening in my 73, except I get one blink and then nothing.
