why not try grand marq 15x6.5 alloy wheels with some tires stretched out... thats what i want to do...by the way, how exactly do you do that...could you stretch 5.5 in tire or less?

Idk what the limit is for stretching tires but I seen some really extreme cases where the side wall is almost at a 45 degree angle from the beed to the tire thread. But I guess it's just a matter of how you want it to look and how much of a rish you will take when driving.

check out stanceworks.com for stretched tire knowledge. I just found a set of 16x7 grand marquis wheels in the junkyard that have 3 inches of lip! I have a set of 16" tires in the garage waiting to go on. They aren't going to be super stretched though.

Period correct wheels that I'm running nowadays are the ARE Vectors 15X7 with BFG's 55 series g-Force Sport tires. It's a nice throw-back to the 80's.

I've got 15x8" centerline billet stars now but there is a set of 14x6" shelby cal 500's on a truck I just bought along with another pair of them in the 14x8" flavor. I'll polish them up this summer and rock the old school. :D
