 ok? question is will i get them back tho after you are done

im thinking about it......... i might paint them to match and polish the intake. im also thinking i may fabricate a custom air box...... possibly hybrid the 22RE top intake portion and make it into a custom air box with a snorkle that leads up to the front of the truck......

TWM has some cool induction plenums almost exactly like what you described; they also allow you to still use velocity stacks. It looks like you have room to use it on your truck since you have short runners. What kind of intake manifold is that? Looks pretty cool. :waytogo:

That's an OG Mikuni intake manifold that they sold as kits in the early 80's... Well built and fits like a glove! :waytogo:

as for right now. im gonna try the stock mech fuel pump. i have the elec fuel pump but no regulator and dont want a junkie one so imma hold off. ill also be installing a small in-line press gauge.

im gonna look into the intake box since i want a little bit better filtration....... the filters i have now im sure would do the job but i want more area for filtering since i noticed my stock open element got real dirty real quick....... being as low to the ground as i am, the fan kicks up ALOT of dirt and dust into the engine bay making the filters get dirty quick.

im also looking into a 16" elec fan setup..... i might do twin 10" since i have em but not sure if they'll fit yet. im also gonna try and figure out the throttle linkage and choke linkages.
