Looking to get some rims on my 88 Pickup. I like the whole Toyota OEM look from a more modern car like a Taco or Highlander but it seems like I'm limited by the 5 Lug pattern. Does anyone know if Taco rims come in 5x114.3 or what OEM Toy wheels I could get that fit the truck? In return a sweet pic of the 'OEM Toyota Rims Look'
look on here http://www.custom-wheels-spinning-rims.com/bolt_patterns.htm or here http://ezaccessory.com/v/vspfiles/files/bolt_pattern_threadsize_new.htm
those are tacoma x-runner 18s. that truck has a cardomain page. ive seen other stuff. it sits too high in my eyes. but they look good on it.
I have a set of Jeep Cherokee rims on my truck they fit nice. When I was working at a Dodge dealership there was a Jeep that was gonna get clunked and I needed rims for mine so I swapped then and they fit perfectly. I have Kuhmo 195/65/15 tires on them right now, there are a few Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep rims that fit our trucks.
I have a set of Jeep steelies too, 15x6, 4" backspacing. They bolt right on, no problem clearing the front hubs. I'm going to run 205/60/15. RAV4 wheels will fit (16x6 steelies) if you open up the wheel center about 1/8" and use a small spacer (1/4" or more) to clear the ball joint. They look good but you can't use the center caps on the front. All the Taco steelies will work too. Just make sure the backspace is less than 4.75" and the wheel center is 2.7" or larger. I think the hub measures 2.65" (correct me if I'm wrong).
to make it easy on everybody the center bore on the wheel needs to be 2 5/8 inch to slip over the front hub
If you are still looking to puchase some wheels I am thinking about selling mine. they are 20x9. look at my posts to see them up close only have about 1500 miles on them. I am in Upland,ca so not to far away
