Hey guys I recently bought and got a 32/36 weber carb installed on my 20r 1980 pickup. I got it installed in a shop and they didn't put the factory carb filter back on. I have the adapter plate for the oem one to fit on it but theres a fitment problem. The coolant line hits the oem carb. Anyone else have this problem ? Solutions ? thanks

Coolant line... As in the small lines going to the choke assembly? If so just loosen the center bolt and rotate it out of the way.

Yes, I was thinking about that but I was wondering if that will throw any kind of adjustment to specs ? If not then I will just rotate it

If it's far enough out of whack that it interferes with the air filter then it isn't set right anyway. ;)

Or just convert it to manual choke and be done with all those problems... :waytogo:
