I currently have a bench seat in my '73 and need help with replacing it. My floor only has holes for the 4 mounting points for the bench. How does everyone else go about mounting bucket seat? Do you just drill holes and run bolts through the floor? I would hate to have put holes in the floor, but I guess if thats what I have to do... Any help would be great.

It also seems that most bucket seats mounting points are relatively close together, like 16 inches from hole to hole and my bench is about 21 inches from front to back.

Yeah I used the stock mounting holes as much as i could. Which for a bucket seat it was 1 in each seat. You can look at my build thread, i took a bunch of pictures of me putting my bucket seats in.

I think that he may have meant that he had to only drill one hole for each seat and the other three lined up.
