Hey everyone, Im new to the forums but Im excited to post my progress on this build to get some feedback and ideas from you guys. I originally bought this truck only to drive while I rebuild the engine in my other truck, then post it back up on craigslist. But all it took was a day of driving it and I got sucked into another yota build.

    Some specs:
    1983 base model, 22r 4spd, 180k miles, 1 owner.

    Plans:
Frame off resto inside and out, freshen up the engine, wheels and tires. Still undecided whether I want to keep it as original as possible or lower it. Time will tell.

I knew this truck looked familiar...I was oogling it on CL, lol.

    Super straight body and unmolested!

    Welcome aboard!

Oh yeah youre local lol it was between this or a long bed 80. Went and looked at this first and couldnt pass it up. It has a couple bad rust spots, and seeping valve stem seals, but other than that, runs like a champ and all original straight body.
