i usually get about 23mpg. lol im too lazy to write it down or calculate it so i just use that little app on my ipod touch, i think its called road trip lite.
Put a K&N filter in it and exhaust, you'll get 16+. And prepare to get alot less when you lift it and put bigger tires on.
I average about 20mpg. I have a 22re with quite a few mods (3.73 gears, intake, full header back exhuast, lightweight flywheel etc..)and my timing chain is on its way out. I used to average 24- 25 when the truck was stock with a new timing chain.
I dont really know.. but from fill up to the end.. I driven at least 3-4-500 miles in like a week.. depending on what i do. so i estimated between 20-30. 162k 22RE automatic 2wd xtracab my DIY intake somewhat gutted cat and an exhaust hanging there. seriously. plus my steelies and 205 width tires. other than that, its being doing great so far.
25ish MPG Fuel 1 quart 20w-50 oil to 125 miles just under 199,89x miles 1500 miles a month.... Now being handled by my BMW 26x,xxx (odom broken not exactly sure) 40ish miles to the gallon 1 quart 10w-30 to 1500 miles
i get between 20-22 city and 25-28 highway in my 78. header, intake, weber, ignition, ect, 4.10 gears and a 5 speed. best highway was 31. that tank was doing 75-80 from central oregon to northern cal.
i should probably adjust the carb so i dont look like a turbo car when i romp on the gas spewing black smoke either or turbo the truck so i look appropriate when i romp on the gas
im gettin bout 28-30 in my 86, it has 244,000 miles on it and i drive it everyday to work.....everything is pretty much stock with a 4 speed
