I've been wondering how everyone else is doing MPG wise on our trucks. I drive about 100 miles a day so I fuel up pretty often. I've been tracking my mpgs with fuelly. So far my best tank has been 22.5 MPG. I often throw the truck in fourth and take hills at 75 to 80 and I know that kills my mileage but what can I say, I like driving fast.

    THAT MUCH MILEAGE?!:jawdrop:

I haven't done the math because my gauge is screwed up, I've typically got 5 more gallons in the tank than it says. (according to the Chilton guide and my cousin Aaron) So I am supposed to have a 17 gallon tank and the most I fill up is about 12. At least it's cheaper to fill up like that!:D

Each fill up's mileage has been between 300 - 350 miles

Not much left stock on my ride,& driving fast is what most often happens, then I average 23-26. However coming back from Danger Zone ,cruising @ 65 for 223 miles I got 31mpg. This is with a LC Engineering Pro Street EFI.& 5 speed manual

Not to steal this thread, but want to add that the photo shoot of my truck will be in the July issue of Mini Truck'in ,to be on the stands May 4.Hope to see my copy before that.

my runner pulls 20mpg with 31's stock gears and a performance/high compression ratio 22re

my truck pulls anywhere from about 20mpg (city floored everywhere) all the way to my max ever of 42mpg from medford to redding, on flat highway it's pulled 38mpg. It runs like a top has mods that improve fuel economy while improving performance.....

You don't need the gas gauge to find out. Next time you fill up write down the milage on the odometer. Then when you fill up again take the difference on the odometer divided by the gallons of gas put in.

For some reason lately, the bottom half of my tank goes alot quicker. When I first bought my truck it was getting 26-27 city, now its 22-23.
