mean kine holes

    ok i have major rulst holes under my cowl panel and it leaks water when it rains so i was wondering what i should do to close it up water tight help needed

    you could get a replacement panel from a donor truck and weld it in. or make some plates and weld those in. or..... you could fiberglass it.....

    i would used some panel adhesion rather then a weld and then paint it with some por15, you'll never have to worry about it again!

    Ill add to the adhering panel idea with seam sealer, por15 is awesome, landscaping foam ( weatherproof & water resistant ) is great in tight nonvisible areas, silicone has its uses as well - I like Lexel for 100% waterproofing and elastic properties over the traditional silicone that doesnt stretch. . .

    yea, that is a reason i want to take welding classes now..that and the military will pay for it :D

    its always best when someone else pays. i know a girl who did four years in the army, now shes out and going to a beauty college that costs 20k, and the military is paying like 90 percent of the cost.

    i dont disagree with you, i just dont like the way a weld rusts so fast, unless you use an oxide primer and so on, but i just think glueing it is much easyer, just my opinion burnzya.

    no problem, i didn't mean to come off as mad or any of that nonsense:lol:, its definitely a good option if you have no access to a welder.
