I love this truck and rim setup. It has alot of work done to it to make those rims fit like that though and I dont think it would be practical to use the bed for almost anything anymore when your setup like that. I want to still be able to have a good look and transport something if I ever needed to without a problem.

Best thing I could tell you. Is find a shop that carries them (or will order one) local and test fit one rim. If thats even possible. Or just buy 1 rim online and test fit without mounting a tire and send it back if it doesn't look like its gonna work. That is pretty much what I am doing now with the Klutch racing rim. I might even just mount a tire and test it with a tire. Problem there is you cant return it after that.

Those are badass rims..But I dont think they would fit right as low as I am. There would be fitment issues for sure.

Going to test fit it later. If it looks good I will pick up a 205/40/16 for it on Monday and continue test fitting front and rear position before I make my final decision to order the rest of the set or not.

So I currently am running 205/40/16 on 16x8 rims. If I run the same tire on a 16x9 will it still be the same height but just stretched on a little more? Will the tires stay the same height they are now to fill the wheel gap properly? Should I run a different tire?

Here is where I am at with trying to fit these rims. I ran into a couple of problems. In the front they look like they will fit ok. I might have some issues with wide turns...Not sure yet. The other issue in the front is the dust cap for the hub protrudes too far out and I cant put the center cap. I am thinking I can hammer it flat or find a cap that doesn't stick out so far. I could also run spacers to fix all my problems but then I think it wont tuck anymore. In the back they fit but the inside of the rim is very close to the u bolt plate under the rear end. It is millimeters away from touching. Again spacer could fix this but then it might not clear the fender. What do you guys think here? I can still go with 16x8 also same rim just not as deep of a dish or as far back of an inset.

Sitting here thinking about it...Might just be better to go with the 16x8 and call it a day.

5mm spacer in the rear should do the trick.

Just ordered (2) 5mm spacers with 67.1mm hub bore same as my hub rings. Im going to mount a tire and try the spacers out. I really like the rims and would love to see them work. Any suggestions on tire size? Should I run the same 205/40/16's i have on my 16x8's?

This is a 205/40/16 on a 16x9 rim. Not sure if thats too much stretch for me or not. Trying to decide which tire size to go with.

    These are 16x9 with 215/40/16

Im leaning towards the 215/40/16. Not a fan of the tires being too stretched

You could still tuck your 9's but it wouldn't be much.. little fender rolling and you might be able to pull it off. Thinkn maybe just your tires would tuck? Idk..either way u go i hope it works out

Thanks...Im gonna buy a 215/40/16 on Monday and go from there. I will see what needs to be done to make them fit and actually mount the wheel and drive on it.
