Do any of you have experience installing front line locks? I cannot get mine to work and have a feeling I may have hooked something up wrong?

btw I have the Summit kit & installation kit

any help is much appreciated or if anyone has a diagram how the lines should go.

    Thanks you guys

this has absolutely nothing to do with this thread, but do all your stock gauges work with the motor? thats my only concern doing my 302 swap later.

yep that's the kit and I also have SUM-G3904 which is all the hard-lines and fittings.

How you described is how I have it and it will not lock it up. I will take pics of how I have it when it stops raining.

I really appreciated your help :)

everything looks hooked up right, hydraulic wise.

do you have power @ the lock and the switch?

are you stepping on the brakes then switching it on or switching it on then the brakes? brakes 1st

and if yes to all that...

did your brake res go dry or let the fluid drip till it stopped? you may need to bench bleed your master again to get brake pressure up front.

I have done everything you have wrote. I still have to fully run the switch and the activation light, just for testing I grounded it out good, pushed the brakes & touched the red wire to a constant 12v and nothing?

I noticed today that the brake line that goes from the master Cylinder all the way over to the right side goes into some sort of T and one of those lines that come off the T goes to right brake, but the left one goes directly to the brake? I wonder if this might have something to do with it not working?

    Thanks again

im not quite sure i understand that last post...

the front and rear brake lines should be seperated. (or they were on older models).

if your brakes are tied together (front n rear) you might need to buy another solinoid so you can just block the flow dierectly to the wheel.

got a pic of the other T your talking about?

what do the install instructions say?
