Luckily no, but it could have been ugly. His girfriend was in there at the time. The only pain suffered was his wallet when I got done putting it back together It was a very expensive lesson.
ok ok ok so i just lookd and read about the 9lb flywheel on lce and it says it doenst mess with your idle is that true or not?
but there were people on this saying it messed with theirs..........also will it effect my mpg or gas in any way?
The 22re is not exactly a smooth running motor. At idle you can feel the natural harmonics of the motor better with the lightweight flywheel. The idle stays the same but taking 20 pounds of inertia off the motor could give someone the impression of a rougher idle.
The 9lb is pretty fun I would buy it again if I had to. The other cool thing is unless you grenade it (that really sucks celica83_gts), you can always sell it because the wear pad is replaceable
and the LC flywheel is worth the extra money too... Fidanza flywheels usually fit a few different cars and have extra unused bolt holes because of it. The LC fits like its supposed to
ill be in search of a light weight fly as well once i get back into some spare cash i definately will go with the 9lb. for what my truck does and the normal day to day driving, i think it'll be just fine.
