Someone recently gave me 4 dimmable blue 194 LED bulbs. My question is this what our clusters use? And how many total bulbs are there?
Has no one done this before? Everyone likes the dim green glow? What about anyone that's swapped clusters. You should know. I'd rather not pull the cluster and have to order different bulbs.

Like Crutchfield and audio stuff, it may be good to get your info there and still look around to see whats available if you need to order more bulbs.

Good news! I searched but didn't find that. Hmm... So that thread says 3-4 illum. Bulbs are used. I have the 6 gauge cluster. Is it possible mine will use more? I only have 4 of those bulbs and definitely want them all changed.
It's possible, I haven't checked, although I do have one of those clusters sitting on the bench. I'll try to remember to look.
Well I buckled down and just did it. Even the 6 gauge cluster has only 3 illumination bulbs. They are indeed 194's All installed and working just gotta wait til tonight and I'll snap a pic and post it on here!! Quite excited.
And boom. I'm quite happy with the result. It looks more blue in person but not over the top by any means. My truck and interior is all blue so it compliments nicely!! Now does anyone know what bulbs the HVAC uses or if they can be changed? i would LOVE to get that to match.
I should also add that I used 5 diode 194 conversion bulbs off amazon. Here's a link for those that are about to ask. A 74 huh? I'll have to look into that thanks! Does the entire control have to be removed or can it swapped in the truck?
And I just looked at what I have and realized that guy also gave me 5 T5 led bulbs which I looked up and are those 74's. Jackpot!
